West Texas Hub

About Me

I’m a native Texan, raised in the DFW area, and I’ve called far West Texas home since December 2007. Living in this region for nearly two decades has given me a deep appreciation for the people, places, and independent spirit that make West Texas so unique.

Before starting West Texas Hub, I spent over 20 years in merchandising, working with retailers large and small across the state. That experience taught me what captures attention, how presentation affects perception, and how the right visibility can turn casual interest into loyal customers.

With West Texas Hub, I’m combining that experience with my love for this region to help local businesses get noticed. This site was built for the people who make West Texas what it is, hard-working business owners, creative entrepreneurs, and visitors looking to discover the best of Fort Davis, Alpine, and Marfa.

My goal is simple: to help you reach more people, more often, with a clean, professional online presence that represents your business the way it deserves.

Why I made this site

One thing I’ve noticed living here is that many small-town businesses work incredibly hard to create the perfect space, they find the right location, design a welcoming look, and pour their hearts into it, but if people don’t know they exist, they can struggle.

(Story time)

A friend of mine opened a great shop right in downtown Fort Davis, right on the main road, but the building faced at an odd angle away from the road. Even with a sign, few people noticed it. Sure, they could have advertised in the local paper or handed out flyers, but those are short-lived. Newspapers, mailers, and handouts end up in the trash or blowing down the road.

I’ve seen too many businesses come and go simply because people, even locals, didn’t know they were there. And for tourists or travelers passing through, how would they find you? They aren’t picking up fliers; they’re pulling out their phones and asking:

  • “Where can I stay in Fort Davis?”

  • “Where can I eat in Alpine?”

  • “What shops are available in Marfa?”

  • “What can I do here?”

That’s exactly why I built West Texas Hub, to give every business, big or small, a way to be found. When you list your business here, it becomes visible online 24/7/365. Even if you don’t have your own website, this serves as your web presence, one that works for you without any extra effort. I take care of that for you, I'm doing the hard work so you don't have to. If you already have a website, your listing here connects directly to it. All this for less than what it costs to eat a meal in town.

Think of this site as a virtual community bulletin board, one the whole world can see, and one that helps your business stay visible, day and night.
