I Must Be Nuts, But You Win, Black Friday Prices Are Staying All December

I honestly intended to take all the Black Friday specials down once December arrived. That was the plan. I even had the mental checklist ready to go, remove the sale prices, restore the regular pricing, tidy up all the pages, the whole thing.

Then reality set in.

From Thanksgiving through Christmas, life turns into a whirlwind. Between celebrations, travel, year end chores, unexpected detours, and the general holiday shuffle, it becomes a whole lot of busy. So instead of fighting the calendar, I chose the easy route. The easy route benefits you, so enjoy it. I decided not to rework everything just to take the sale down, so the Black Friday deals are rolling straight through the entire month of December. Yes, the whole month. this may sound crazy, but you win.

I would much rather spend that time adding your listing and creating your dedicated page instead of pushing prices back up.

Now, I hope your Thanksgiving was wonderful. Mine was, even though the week leading up to it was packed. I helped a friend move from her house into a smaller place. It was a lot of work and a bit hectic, and the deadline was the Tuesday before Thanksgiving. Even with the move, and with boxes lining the walls, my friend still managed to put on a full Thanksgiving meal with the help of her family. She fed a small crowd, we ate in shifts, and we laughed the whole way through.

Before that meal, earlier in the day I had already gone to a neighboring church that puts on a large community Thanksgiving dinner every year. It was bittersweet this time because the church patriarch had recently passed away after a long health struggle. I do not attend that church (I go to the community church in the DMR), but I love the people there. They are my neighbors and friends, and I have gone to their Thanksgiving meal for many years. It is a tradition I plan to continue as long as I am able.

So yes, I ate two grand meals, went to bed with a full tummy, and counted my blessings. This year has been interesting and good, and I have much to be thankful for.
